1. Delivery and Service Models
Depending on the purchased product and the availability of our infrastructure, the service will be provided under one of the following models. The applicable model will be determined at the time of purchase or at the operational discretion of The epic cake.
1.1 Model A: Managed Usage (Managed Hosting)
- Description: We host and maintain the bot/system on our servers.
- Access: You receive administrative access via commands or dashboard, but do not receive the source code files.
- Hosting Condition: Hosting is provided as a courtesy ("Bonus") linked to your subscription or license.
- Interruptions: Being a courtesy service, we do not guarantee 100% Uptime and are not responsible for interruptions due to maintenance or third-party failures.
1.2 Model B: Self-Hosted (Source Code Delivery)
This model applies if: (a) The client explicitly requests the source code; or (b) The epic cake determines that it cannot provide hosting for that specific product.
- Code Delivery: We will send you the necessary files (scripts, binaries) and license/copyright documentation via email or secure direct transfer (Discord/Drive).
- Waiver of Hosting: By receiving the source code, you automatically waive the managed hosting service provided by us. The client assumes full responsibility for installing, hosting, and maintaining the software on their own infrastructure.
- Limited Support: In this model, our technical support is limited to ensuring that the delivered code is functional. We do not offer support for configuring your VPS, local PC, or troubleshooting errors caused by your hosting environment.
2. Source Code Licensing and Intellectual Property
If you receive source code or files under Model B, the following strict restrictions apply:
- End User License: The delivery of source code DOES NOT constitute a sale of intellectual property rights. You receive a personal/internal commercial use license.
- Redistribution Prohibition: It is strictly prohibited to resell, leak, publish in public repositories (GitHub, GitLab, etc.), or share the source code with third parties without written authorization from The epic cake.
- Copyright: The delivered code may include copyright notices and licenses in the file headers. It is illegal to remove, modify, or hide such notices.
3. Other Virtual Products and Digital Assets
For the sale of products that are not bots or complex systems (e.g., 3D models, graphic assets, configurations, access keys):
- Asset License: A non-exclusive license is granted to use the asset in your projects.
- Delivery: Delivery will be made via direct download, email, or automatic ticket system.
- Final Nature: Once the file or key is sent, the service is considered completed. No returns are accepted for downloaded digital products or revealed keys.
4. Universal Sales Terms and Copyright
When purchasing any product from us—whether it is a Model, System, Website, or any physical or virtual product—our DMCA policy applies in full: https://dmca.theepiccake.org.
By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that everything created by us is subject to our Copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. You are always purchasing a limited license for use, not ownership of the product, unless indicated otherwise.
5. Shipping Policy and Delivery Times
- Shipping Channels: Products, codes, or licenses will be sent exclusively to the email registered at purchase or the Discord account linked to the buyer.
- Verification: We reserve the right to withhold delivery for up to 48 hours to verify payment legitimacy and prevent fraud.
- Delivery Failure: If you do not receive your digital product within the stipulated time, it is your responsibility to contact support with your payment proof.
